Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world and the only one that celebrates the amazing work our young people are doing to improve communities.

Under the guidance of TCP resident artist Jerushia Graham, our students at Jacob's Ladder were awarded a Disney Friends for Change Grant to implement their project!

ARTFOLIO – free classes and workshops at Binders this weekend!

 Binders is a huge supporter of our organization and local artists!!! They are an amazing source for great art supplies and also have an in house framing shop.

They support a ton of artistic endeavors in Atlanta including our annual art supply drive.

In addition, Binders often supplements our supply needs for TCP outreach programs!

THIS WEEKEND take advantage of ARTFOLIO! - BINDERS ART’S most exciting free Arts Education event held annually. They host vendors from the industry’s leading manufacturers to conduct workshops, lectures, and demonstrations that are free and open to the public.  This year they are featuring Mike Luckovich, a 3x Pulitzer Prize winning illustrator for the AJC, as well as Michael White, Children’s Book Illustrator. Both  purchase all their materials at their store.  ARTFOLIO kicks off Saturday November 3rd and ends Sunday afternoon November 4th.  The complete schedule can be found here: http://www.bindersart.com/artfolio2012.html

The Creatives Project (TCP) announces its 2012 Annual Exhibition and Fundraiser:

CONVERGENCE: Six Artists, One Space


 featuring the work of TCP’s Artist-in-Studio residents:

The work marks the growth and transitions of each artist during their first year of residency with TCP.
After many hours of work in their studios, discussions, and mentorship they come together to share the progress of their work as they journey into their second year.

TCP will also introduce and display the work of it’s newly named 2012 residents:

Masud “MAO” Olufani
Charlie Watts.

Come experience this night in the spirit of celebration and philanthropy as TCP celebrates the past year and many successes. This event will support TCP’s continuing initiatives to provide more artists with studio space, exhibitions, and housing, as well as vital hands-on arts outreach to area youth
