SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP:

The Creatives Project is looking to hire an intern who is a skilled and visual storyteller with a love for digital media and communications. Social Media Intern Job Responsibilities:

  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.

  • Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content.

  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns

  • Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites

  • Create and distribute content such as newsletters, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets

  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

  • Support marketing team at live and online events

Social Media Intern skills and qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap and Google+

  • Experience with content management systems and word processor applications 

  • Proficiency with image/video editing software

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance

  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Familiarity with Google Suite

Expectations:

Estimated 10 hours/week with flexible scheduling / ability to work remotely. This internship will run for 6 months. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required. . 

Compensation:

The Social Media Intern will receive a $150 stipend per month at the end of each month for the duration of their internship.
