The Creatives Project (TCP) is excited to host its 6th Annual Holiday Dinner! We will offer an elevated incarnation of TCP’s traditional “family potlucks” shared among the artist into a gourmet fundraiser directly benefiting our artists and the community to create an intimate dining experience.
Talented Chef Ophus will be preparing a locally sourced three course meal for 25 of TCP's patrons, supporters and artists in gratitude for their support of our annual campaign and throughout the year.

ABOUT THE CHEF CLEOPHUS:
Chef Cleophus “Chef Ophus” Hethington (Zagat 8 Under the Radar Miami Chefs, Miami Herald “The Indulge Magazine” 25:
People, Places, Dishes and Drinks that are Firing Up Miami’s Food Scene) is a Miami native. He served in the US Navy for five years as a Hospital Corpsman before entering into the healthcare field. His overwhelming passion for food and cooking led him to
leave the comfort of his career for the heat of the kitchen where he grew and learned under many of the best chefs in the country.
With a background in fine dining, Chef Cleophus has trained and worked alongside the country’s leading chefs such as (Lazy BettyATL, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar Miami, The Cypress Room, Alter Miami, Matador Room by Jean George, The Optimist). Chef Cleophus to share his interpretation through stories and history of food from the Africa Diaspora.
Ębí Chop Bar is a pop-up dinner series created by Chef Cleophus “Chef Ophus” Hethington. Ębí Chop Bar was recently voted one of Atlanta’s Best Pop-Up’s in Atlanta Magazine’s Best of 2019. Ębí Chop Bar was created to highlight the African Diasporic foodways from across the globe. This rich history is more than the well-known and celebrated soul food and Southern cuisines created by innovative black American ancestors. It incorporates cultures from the Caribbean islands, Central and South America,and continental Africa where cooking and ingenuity has always been a gift to the people.
